Course Description
This unit of competency will allow one to obtain the necessary skills and knowledge in order to extract and serve espresso and coffee beverages. One will also learn how to advise customers on coffee beverages, maintain & clean espresso machines and grinders as well as select and grind coffee beans. For those looking forward to becoming a barista this is a good step in the right direction. ATS offers this unit as a single unit which can then be added towards other qualifications.
